Banks’ corporate clients slash by 3,100 in one year, central bank

YEREVAN, June 16. /ARKA/. In 2015 Armenian banks lost 4.1 percent of their corporate clients. By the end of the year there were 76,400 of them, according to a local daily ‘Haykakan Zhamanak” (Armenian Time), which cited the official figures of the Central Bank of Armenia. Thus, the total number of the banks’ corporate clients  reduced by 3,100.

“Contrary to the authorities’ claims, these data indicate only one thing- local entrepreneurs are curtailing their businesses in Armenia en masse,” it says. -0-
