Armenian regulator registers new credit organization – The First Factoring Company

Armenia’s financial agenda this week centered on developing regulatory cooperation, digitizing currency transactions, and expanding capital market instruments.

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)—led by Elisabetta Falcetti, Managing Director for Turkey and the Caucasus—agreed to advance their cooperation agenda during a meeting on Thursday.

During its session on Thursday, the Armenian government approved changes to the notification procedures regarding the status of insured persons within the universal health insurance system.

The development of digital financial services today involves not only improving existing banking products but also creating specialized platforms that make financial services more efficient and accessible.

The average market exchange rate of the US dollar against the Armenian dram, established on Armenia's currency market, fell by 0.06 points on September 24 compared to September 23, settling at 363.38 drams.
