Around $66.8 million bought by Armenian banks last week

YEREVAN, November 28. /ARKA/. Armenia’s commercial banks bought around $66.8 million from the local foreign currency market on November 21 to 25 at the average weighted exchange rate of 478.51 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.

It said the banks also bought 6.9 million euros and 862.4 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 505.9 and 7.4 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.

The banks also sold about $66.7 million, € 17.5 million and 862.4 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 480.01, 509.48 and 7.51 drams respectively.

In addition, from November 14 to 20, the banks provided 54 billion drams worth loans in the national currency and $62.8 million worth loans in USD. ($ 1- 479.4 drams). –0—-
