Armenia’s monetary base shrinks 4.7% in November

YEREVAN, January 9. /ARKA/. Armenia’s monetary base shrank 4.7% in November, compared with October, to AMD 848.6 billion, the National Statistical Service reports referring to the central bank’s preliminary figures.

Cash outside of the central bank amounted to AMD 405.4 billion in late November against 411.6 billion in late October.

Correspondent accounts in drams totaled AMD 280 billion against about AMD 285.6 billion in late October, and those in foreign currencies amounted to AMD 157.9 billion against AMD 186 billion.

Net international reserves (without money from privatization) totaled about AMD 483.5 billion in late November after shrinking 6.2% over the month.

Net internal assets amounted have shrunk from AMD 375 billion in late October to AMD 365.5 billion in late November. ($1- AMD 483.94). —0—-
