Services in Armenia’s finance sector accounts for 4.4% year-on-year growth in Jan-Nov 2016

YEREVAN, January 11. /ARKA/. Services in Armenia’s finance sector grew 4.4% in Jan-Nov 2016, compared with the same period a year before, to AMD 225.5 billion, the National Statistical Service reports.

They also grew 29.9% in November 2016, compared with November 2015, to AMD 22.3 billion.

The share of the finance sector in the total amount of Armenia’s services is 19.7%.

Aggregate services in the country totaled AMD 1 143.5 billion in Jan-Nov 2016 showing a 8% year-on-year growth.

The second biggest provider of services in Armenia is the sector ‘Culture, Entertainment and Rest’ with its AMD 215. 3 billion and 24.4% growth.

It is followed by the sectors ‘Information and Communications’ (AMD 196.4 billion and 0.1% growth) and ‘Transport’ (AMD 153.7 billion and 21.8% growth). ($1 – AMD 484.71). –0—-
