Transfers to individuals in Armenia continue growing – daily

YEREVAN, February 21. /ARKA/. The volume of transfers addressed to individuals in Armenia continues to grow, the Zhogovurd reports. According to the newspaper, in December 2019, the net inflow of transfers from abroad to the bank accounts of individuals amounted to $ 65.8 million.

Compared to December 2018, the net inflow of transfers increased by $ 15.3 million. In December 2019, $ 150.3 million was taken from the country.

The paper also reports that the net inflow of transfers from Russia in December amounted to $ 45.7 million.

“It is clear that the main part of these funds is transferred by Armenians – labor migrants, and the funds are provided for the spending of their families,” the article says.

The net inflow of transfers from the United States increased sharply, in November 2019 it amounted to $ 10.8 million, while in December last year it reached $ 18.7 million. –0–
