Acba Bank joins My Forest Armenia to plant thousands of birch trees in Lori marz (VIDEO)

YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. Employees of Acba Bank traveled to Urasar village of Lori marz (province) to take care of nature and make the country greener, the press service of the bank reported.

Walking through the hills of Urasar, the bank employees started planting trees. The work on reforestation and the desire to create a long-lasting forest with rich biodiversity once again brought together the organization My Forest Armenia and Acba Bank. This year Acba employees planted birch trees.

Birch trees are suitable for the climatic and soil conditions of Urasar; so this particular species with beautiful bark and leaves was chosen.

‘My Forest Armenia has set a new milestone: 800 thousand trees will be planted every year until 2025, which will result in the creation of 240 hectares of new forests. Since the first day of its establishment, Acba Bank has been paying special attention to the development and preservation of the environment. That is why we come together every year to contribute to the greening of the environment,” said Ani Poghosyan, Head of Talent Attraction Group at Acba Bank.

‘The main goal of the My Forest Armenia organization is to plant as many forests as possible and to increase the forest areas. Together with Acba Bank, which is one of our donor companies, we planted birch trees. Our goal is not only to plant forests, but also to do this work together with the people of Armenia so that they know the importance of forests,” said Arpine Aleksanyan, Corporate Communications Coordinator of My Forest Armenia.
