Exchange rate of Armenian dram to US dollar remained unchanged in July against previous month

YEREVAN, 5 August. /ARKA/. In July  2024 compared to June of the same year, Armenia recorded a 0.4% drop in consumer prices, while the estimated exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar remained unchanged, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).

In July of this year compared to December of last year, consumer prices and the exchange rate of Armenian dram against the US dollar decreased by 1.3% and 4.1%, respectively.

In the same period last year, the consumer prices and the exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the U.S. dollar fell by 3.3% and 2%, respectively.

In July 2024, the average estimated exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar was 388.1 drams, 0.4 per cent higher than in July 2023 (386.5 drams). -0-
