Capital market development in Armenia discussed with ADB and the French development agency

YEREVAN, December 5. /ARKA/. Sevak Mikaelyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, met with a joint mission from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the French Development Agency (AFD) yesterday.

During the meeting, issues related to the budget support credit program, jointly implemented with the ADB and AFD, were discussed, along with the capital market development program, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

The parties emphasized the importance of the consistent implementation of initiatives aimed at developing the capital market.

About the Asian Development Bank

The organization works in the areas of sustainable management and conservation of natural resources (irrigation, forests), urban infrastructure (transport, water supply, waste management, pollution control), energy transition (renewable energy, energy efficiency, and energy sector reform), and public financial management.
