Non-commercial remittances to Armenia grew 42.3% in July – WB

YEREVAN, September 30. /ARKA/. In July, net non-commercial money transfers continued strong growth, at 42.3 percent (yoy), according to the World Bank’s “Armenia Monthly Economic Update – September 2025.”

“This was driven by a 68.9 percent (yoy) increase in net inflows from Russia, representing 65 percent of total net inflows, and a 16.4 percent (yoy) rise in net inflows from the United States,” the study notes.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia, in July of this year, the net inflow of non-commercial cross-border transfers to individuals in Armenia, received from abroad through the Armenian banking system, amounted to $72.6 million, compared to $51 million in July of last year.-0-
