VTB (Armenia) partnered with Maestro Valery Gergiev’s concert in Yerevan

YEREVAN, October 2. /ARКА/. With the backing of VTB (Armenia), a concert featuring Maestro Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra took place at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.

The program showcased esteemed compositions such as Alexander Arutyunyan’s “Festive Overture,” Dmitri Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1, and Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 4. A standout moment of the evening was the performance by the orchestra’s solo violinist, Pavel Milyukov.

“Concerts led by Maestro Valery Gergiev are always remarkable occasions that evoke positive feelings among attendees. We are delighted to support such endeavors that enhance cultural accessibility for all audiences,” remarked Ara Avagyan, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB (Armenia).

Armenian banks’ net profit in Q1 2026 increased by 2.3% to AMD 103.5 billion

Armenian commercial banks paid 28.65 billion drams in various taxes in Q1

All 17 Armenia-based commercial banks are included in the list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers in the first quarter of 2026, having paid a total of 28.65 billion drams to the state budget, according to data released today by the State Revenue Committee.
