The Central Bank of Armenia has warned about viral and fake phishing emails being sent in its name

YEREVAN, October 20. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia is warning that phishing emails with attached files are being sent in the name of the Central Bank from a number of fake email addresses, including Tickets@t kt.am.

“We inform you that these emails are viral and fake. We urge you not to open the attached files, not to click on the links contained in the emails, and to immediately delete such emails,” the statement reads.

The regulator noted that the Central Bank has no connection with these emails and never distributes information or documents in this manner or from such email addresses.

The Central Bank urged vigilance and adherence to basic cybersecurity rules.
