Ranking of the most profitable banks in Armenia by the end of 2025

YEREVAN, January 23. /ARKA/. ARKA News Agency has published a ranking of the most profitable commercial banks in Armenia for 2025.

The net profit of Armenia’s banking system in 2025 was 421.3 billion drams, compared to 363.15 billion drams in 2024 (an increase of 16.01%). Moreover, in the fourth quarter of 2025, bank profits amounted to 113.43 billion drams, an increase of 5.8% compared to the third quarter of the same year.

All 17 banks operating in Armenia ended the past year with a profit. Of these, 16 banks increased their profits compared to 2024, while one bank (Araratbank) saw a decrease in profits. According to the ARKA news agency ranking, the top five banks by profitability for 2025 are: Ardshinbank, Ameriabank, ACBA Bank, Inecobank, and Evocabank.

Ardshinbank became the most profitable bank in the country last year, maintaining its leadership position. The bank’s net profit reached 137.1 billion drams, an increase of 3.29% compared to 2024.

Ameriabank ranks second with a profit of 72.61 billion drams, an increase of 20.96% compared to the previous year.

ACBA Bank ranks third, with a profit of 36.24 billion drams in 2025, an increase of 27.76% compared to 2024.

Inecobank ranks fourth in the ARKA ranking with a profit of AMD 29.61 billion, up 1.41% year-on-year.

Evocabank rounds out the top five last year, with a profit of AMD 21.39 billion, up 46.44% year-on-year.

The bank profit ranking is based on the ARKA news agency’s bulletin, “Performance Indicators of Armenian Banks: Operational Data for Q4 2025,” compiled based on Armenian banks’ reports published in accordance with IFRS.
