Armenia’s commercial banks paid 162.14 billion drams to the state budget in 2025

YEREVAN, January 26. /ARKA/. In 2025, all 17 commercial banks operating in Armenia made it to the list of the top 1,000 taxpayers, contributing a remarkable total of 162.14 billion drams to the state budget, as reported by the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.

Out of the total contributions from banks, the tax authorities collected 159.76 billion drams, while customs authorities received 2.38 billion drams.

The State Revenue Committee revealed that the collections from bank profit tax reached 85.85 billion drams, personal income tax totaled 61.58 billion drams, VAT was 3.35 billion drams, and other taxes and duties amounted to 11.36 billion drams.

The leading five banks by payment volume last year were Ardshinbank with 40.2 billion drams (5th place), Ameriabank with 29 billion drams (6th place), ACBA Bank with 13.96 billion drams (24th place), Inecobank with around 11.61 billion drams (28th place), and Unibank with 9.11 billion drams (35th place). Among the top 100 largest taxpayers, Converse Bank ranked 43rd with 7.79 billion drams, IDBank was 48th with 7.22 billion drams, Evocabank was 49th with 6.97 billion drams, Armeconombank was 57th with 5.93 billion drams, Araratbank was 58th with 5.92 billion drams, VTB Bank (Armenia) was 64th with 5.43 billion drams, AMIO Bank was 74th with 4.96 billion drams, Fast Bank was 75th with 4.78 billion drams, and ArmSwissBank was 78th with 4.5 billion drams. The remaining three banks were ranked as follows: Mellat Bank with 1.77 billion drams (200th place), Artsakhbank with 1.77 billion drams (201st place), and Byblos Bank Armenia with 1.21 billion drams (298th place).

The Central Bank of Armenia contributed a total of 2.24 billion drams. According to the State Revenue Committee, the 1,000 largest taxpayers in Armenia contributed over 1.95 trillion drams in taxes and customs duties to the state budget for 2025, with Mobile Center Art leading the list with payments of 77.86 billion drams.-0-
