WB: In November 2025, net non-commercial money transfers to armenia grew by 28.8 percent yoy

YEREVAN, January 26. /ARKA/. In November 2025, net non-commercial money transfers grew by 28.8 percent (yoy), , according to World Bank’s ‘Armenia Monthly Economic Update – January 2026.’

. This was driven by a 79.2 percent (yoy) increase in net inflows from Russia (representing 59 percent of the total). In contrast, net inflows from United States contracted by 12.6 percent (yoy). Cumulatively, the total net inflow in JanuaryNovember was 26 percent(yoy) higher than in previous year, indicating a recovery after a decline in 2024.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia, in November 2025, the net inflow of non-commercial cross-border money transfers to Armenia through the banking system, amounted to $51.6 million, compared to $40.1 million in November of the previous year.-0-
