Armenia to define list of incomes not subject to taxation

YEREVAN, February 12. /ARКА/. The Armenian Ministry of Finance is establishing a list of incomes not subject to taxation.

“A new draft law is being developed that will establish a list of non-taxable incomes that are not subject to declaration, or subject to declaration only if a certain threshold is exceeded for a single transaction,” said Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan during a government meeting on Thursday.

According to him, the draft law provides for additional simplifications, as citizens have questions regarding the current thresholds.

“We are now specifically defining the expanded list of incomes that are not subject to declaration, and we will submit it to the government for approval within two weeks,” Hovhannisyan noted.-0-
