Top 10 Armenian banks on Facebook

YEREVAN, December 5. /ARKA/. ARKA News Agency unveiled its Top 10 Armenian banks on Facebook rating.

Top 10 banks of the rating are those the official Facebook pages of which gained the highest number of likes as of 30 November: ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, Unibank, VTB Bank (Armenia), Converse Bank, Ameriabank, Anelik Bank, Armenian Development Bank, Ardshininvestbank, HSBC Bank Armenia and Inecobank.

At present, there are 21 commercial banks in Armenia. Of them only 18 have official Facebook pages reporting 36,214 likes and 2,086 participation records ( talking about this).

Facebook Engagement Index of these banks was 5.76% as of 30 November. Facebook Engagement Index (FEI) measures an active performance of visitors through calculating the ratio of the quantity of participation records (talking about this) to the total number of likes.

The number of likes for top 10 banks accounted for 96.5% of all likes for the banks, and for 90.8% of “talking about this.” FEI of top 10 banks stood at 5.42%.

ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK’s Facebook page tops the rating list with 10,401 likes and 248 participation records as of 30 Novemeber. FEI is 2.38%.

Unibank is ranked the second in the rating with 9 868 likes and up to 501 “talking about this.” Its FEI is 5%.

VTB Bank (Armenia) received the third position in the rating. The total number of likes and participation records accounted to 4, 964 and 207 respectively. The bank’s FEI stood at 4.17%.

Likes for Converse bank totaled 3,255, “talking about this” category- 355, FEI- 10.9%.

Ameriabank is the fifth (2,076 likes, 196 “talking about this”, 9.4% FEI).

Anelik Bank reported 1,521 likes, 110 participation records, and 7.2% FEI.

Armenian Development Bank gained 900 likes, 41 participation records (talking about this) and 4.5% FEI.

Ardshininvestbank is ranked the eighth in the rating, with 714 likes, 128 participation records, and 17.9% FEI.

HSBC Bank Armenia is the ninth. The total number of likes for its page is 648, participation records- 14, and FEI- 2.16%.

Inecobank ends top 10 banks rating. The number of likes for its page accounted 615, participation records- 96, and FEI- 15.6% as of 30 November.

ARKA News Agency bears no responsibility for the authenticity of the accounts, “likes” used for compiling the rating. The number of “likes” not always really reflects the popularity of Facebook pages. At the same time, this rating has no influence on the stability and sustainability of Armenia’s banking subjects.
