Loan portfolio of Armenia’s banks in Karabakh stood at 76,334.3mln drams as of December 1

STEPANAKERT, December 12 . /ARKA/. Total loan portfolio of Armenia’s commercial banks in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) rose by 1.9% to 76,334.3 million drams as of December 1, as compared to the same period of 2012.

Yet, it was 0.8% reduction compared to the month before, NKR’s statistical service says.

Foreign currency loans constitute 55.1% of the overall portfolio, whereas overdue loans are 1.1%.

As of December 1 2013, deposits in NKR branches of Armenia’s banks amounted to a total of 58,541.2 million drams, an increase of 20.2% compared to the same period of the year before, and a 0.8% increase against the month before.

Time deposits are 73%, call deposits 19.7% and target deposits 7.3%, according to the report.–0–
