$66.7 million bought by commercial banks last week at Armenia’s intra-banking forex market

YEREVAN, September 7. / ARKA /. Commercial banks bought $64.5 million at 482.6 drams per one dollar at Armenia’s intra-banking foreign exchange market over a period between August 31 and September 4, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

They also bought €5.6 million and 786.5 million Russian rubles at the mentioned period at 540.37 drams and 7.2 drams respectively.

The banks sold $82.6 million, €10.6 million and 272.1 million Russian rubles at 484.82 drams, 546.79 drams and 7.37 drams respectively.

The loans extended by Armenia’s commercial banks in drams over a period between August 24 and 30 amounted to $39.1 billion, and dollar loans totaled $20.9 million. ($1 – AMD 485.43). —-0—–
