Interest rates on loans in Armenian drams increase in July–Central Bank

YEREVAN, September 9. / ARKA /. Interest rates on short-term and long-term loans provided by Armenian banks grew in July, according to a statement placed on Central Bank’s official website.

According to it, interest rates on short-term loans in Armenian drams increased by 0.83 percentage points to 18.18%, while interest rates on loans in USD decreased by 0.06 percentage points to 10.39%.

Interest rates on long-term loans in drams in July rose by 0.41 percentage points to 17.66%, while interest rates on long-term loans in USD grew by 1.4% to 11.09%

Interest rates on short-term deposits in drams decreased by 0.4 percentage points to 14.44% and interest rates on short-term deposits in USD decreased by 0.31 percentage points to 5.57%.

Rates on long-term deposits in drams rose by 0.29 percentage points to 14.66%, while interest rates on long-term deposits in USD fell by 0.03 percentage points to 7.19%. -0-
