Armenia, Germany expand financial cooperation

YEREVAN, October 25. /ARKA/. Armenian Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan received Friday German Ambassador to Armenia Michael Johannes Banzhaf, the press office of the ministry reports.
Current cooperation and prospects for its development were discussed at the meeting along with other issues.

The Armenian minister and the German ambassador stressed the importance of the programs being implemented in energy, environment, small and medium businesses and insurance of farming.
The activities of German Developmnet Bank (KfW) and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) were discussed at the meeting as well.

An agreement of cooperation between Armenian and German governments was signed upon completion of the meeting. -0—
