VTB Bank (Armenia) launched VTB-in service for crediting money transfers on cards and accounts

YEREVAN, February 2. /ARKA/. VTB Bank (Armenia) offers its clients receiving money transfers both in Armenia and from abroad a new remote service called VTB-in, the bank said in a press release today.

It said using this service senders of money transfers from abroad can instantly credit  the money from anywhere in the world to the bank and card accounts of their relatives and friends in Armenia via VTB Bank (Armenia)’s official website.

The service is also available for money transfers from the cards of Armenia-based banks to bank and card accounts of VTB Bank (Armenia) as well as between VTB Bank (Armenia) cards.

To send money transfers through the Bank’s official website from anywhere in the world one needs only to have an internet connection and a card of any bank.

A few simple steps and the money will be sent to the addressee in a fast and safe way. It is only necessary to fill in the recipient’s card or account number, after which the recipient’s incomplete name and surname will automatically appear on the screen for verification. It is necessary to fill in the amount of the transfer in AMD. The minimum amount of one transfer is 1,000 drams, maximum – 500 thousand drams. 

In order to secure the money transfer the funds are withdrawn using 3D Secure technology (Verified by Visa/MasterCard Secure Code). This is confirmation of payment by the sender by entering a one-time password sent via SMS by the issuing bank.

After the transaction the system creates a receipt, which can be printed out or sent to the entered email address. VTB-in service fee is 2% of the amount to be transferred, which is automatically deducted from the sender’s card at the moment of transfer.

Replenishment of bank/card account will be credited online from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00, on Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00 and on other days and hours on the next banking day at 09:00.
