Latest generation geothermal hydroponic greenhouse established in Kotayk with support of Acba Bank (VIDEO)

YEREVAN, August 11. /ARKA/. Hatisi Barikner company grows juicy tomatoes in the latest generation geothermal hydroponic greenhouse built on an area of 3,600 square meters, saving water, heating, cooling and electricity.

The two friends who founded the greenhouse, Davit and Vahan, used to work in banking. Together, they first created plastic bottles, and then a unique plant in the region for recycling tires and producing fuel used to heat the greenhouse.

The friends divided the work: David takes care of the technical issues and Vahan of the administrative ones. They learn everything from their own experience. When choosing the location, they took into account that the greenhouse should be located in one of the sunniest places in Armenia.

Hatisi Barikner’s partner is Acba Bank, which from the very beginning believed in the idea of the two friends to create an innovative greenhouse, reports the bank’s press service.

“None of this would have been possible so quickly without a trustworthy partner. In this sense, Acba Bank and Acba Leasing responded quickly and ‘shared’ our innovative investment case. Not all innovations can be successful, but our partners believed in us and we continue to develop together,” says Davit Karamyan, co-founder of Hatisi Barikner.

Currently, the company sells its tomatoes on the local market only.

Acba bank is controlled by the Central Bank of Armenia. -0-
