ADB forecasts inflation in Armenia at 3% in 2025 and 2.8% in 2026

YEREVAN, April 10. /ARKA/. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) forecasts inflation in Armenia at 3% in 2025, said Don Lambert, Director of the Bank’s Resident Mission in Armenia.

“In 2026, inflation will decline to 2.8%,” Lambert said in response to a question from the ARKA agency during the presentation of the ADB’s report “Asian Development Outlook – 2025.”

According to Armstat, Armenia’s 12-month consumer inflation in March of this year was 3.3%, and 0.5% compared to February.

In the 2025 state budget of Armenia, inflation is projected at 3% (±1%). According to the Central Bank’s monetary policy report for Q1, inflation is expected to be within 2.4–2.6% by the end of 2025. The forecast for 2026 is 2.9–3.1%, and for 2027 – 3%.

The World Bank expects inflation in Armenia to reach 3.5% in 2025 and 4% in 2026. The IMF forecasts price growth of 3.7% in 2025. According to ADB’s projections, inflation in Armenia will be 2.5% in 2025. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) expects inflation to reach 3.1% in Armenia by the end of the current year.
