Armenia and Greece deepen cooperation in the banking sector

YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. A memorandum of understanding between the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) and the Association of Hellenic Banks was signed at the international banking forum entitled “The Future of the Banking System: Sustainable Development and Innovation Prospects.”

The forum was held in Yerevan on September 23-24.

The purpose of the signed memorandum is to deepen cooperation between the banking associations of the two countries, aimed at creating a stable financial system and promoting economic development. The bilateral memorandum will facilitate the exchange of experience between the parties, the joint implementation of educational programs, and personnel training.

The memorandum was signed by UBA President Daniel Azatyan and the General Director of the Association of Hellenic Banks, Charoula Apalagaki.
