Non-commercial remittances to Armenia increased by 16.2% in September – World Bank

YEREVAN, November 25. /ARKA/. In September, net non-commercial money transfers to Armenia continued double-digit growth (16.2 percent, yoy), according to the World Bank’s Armenia Monthly Economic Update – November 2025.

This was driven by a 60 percent (yoy) increase in net inflows from Russia, representing 63 percent of total net inflows, and a 3.7 percent (yoy) rise in net inflows from the United States.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia, in September of this year, the net inflow of non-commercial money transfers to Armenia amounted to $24.8 million, compared to $21.6 million in September of last year.-0-
