Eurobond transactions at Armenia’s secondary market total $2.5 million in June 2014

YEREVAN, August 12. /ARKA/. Eurobond transactions at Armenia’s secondary market totaled $2.5 million in June 2014 against $1 million in May 2014, the Central Bank of Armenia says in a fresh issue of its monthly bulletin.

An average yield of Armenian Eurobonds was 4.25% in June.

The total amount of Armenian Eurobond transactions at the secondary market was $31.23 million in Jan-June 2014 with an average yield of 5.53%.

For the first time Armenia issued Eurobonds on September 19, 2013. The first issue amounted to $700 million. The then Eurobonds were seven-year with a 6% yield.

General underwriters were Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, HSBC Bank plc and J.P.Morgan Securities plc. On January 31, debut Armenian Eurobonds got access to auctions at NASDAQ OMX Armenia. ($1 – AMD 411.97). –0–
