Central Bank’s total external liabilities amounted to $644.7 million at the end of 2013 December

YEREVAN, February 18. / ARKA /. Armenian Central Bank’s total external liabilities amounted to $644.7 million at the end of 2013 December, having dropped by 11.9 % from the year before, according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank for December 2013.

The bulk of liabilities were IMF loans – about 56.6% or $365.1 million- a decrease of 21.4 % when compared to the beginning of 2013. At that liabilities in SDR stood at $135.5 million versus $135.2 million at the end of 2012.

Other loans increased from the beginning of the year by 9.2% to $143.9 million, while some other liabilities jumped by 33.3 percent to $200,000, the Central Bank said.. ($1 – 411.79 drams). -0-
